Information/comments: This series started along with Fire Fire Fire while Highschool of the Dead was on hiatus. It features content and characters that could be easily compared to HOTD, and was probably intended to be a placeholder for HOTD in Dragon Age. SS has said that he chose to write the story about assassins because one of his teachers at the school he was trained at said to never write a story about assassins or shinigami, and so he did it as a personal challenge.
The series hasn't achieved anywhere near the success of HOTD, but it has its fair share of fans, I think. It naturally features SS' distinct style and may contain the most "fanservice" of any of SS' series to date.
